Nicaragua GPS Map is a simple, accurate and entirely offline gps navigation app for iPhone or iPad 3G.
All App features and map data is stored within your device, allowing you to explore freely without the worry of expensive data charges from your mobile carrier.

Interface not user friendly. Poor database for points of interest. Already bugged with screen frozen. Bad product.
The maps have no detail and are completely useless unless you just want to see the outline of the country. Only Managua has some of the small streets and the rest of the country only has the major highways and sometimes not even those. The interface is lame. $10 is crazy for this app. It is worthless.
Tried to go from San Jacinto Tizate (not in their database, so I used current location) to Esteli and it reported over 4000 KM to Destination. It is actually less than 150 KM. If there is a curve in the road it reports several "Next turns" in the curve. It definately needs more POIs for outside of Managua. Modeling of the highways is not very accurate, several times is showed me "off roading".
Tried it from Costa Rica to San Juan del Sur. Gave me distance 300 km. The actual is 44. Did not have my hotel I Poi. Jumped all around when driving. All in all, not working, had to buy a paper map.
Worked ok at times in Managua. Unfortunately on our trips to montelimar and San Juan del sur it completely stopped working and we got lost. People in Nicaragua are friendly so they guided us to the locations. Unfortunately road signs in the country dont exist. The only reason why I gave it two stars is because it worked half assed ok in Managua.
